2nd AFREC Regional Energy Statistics Workshop

Background

After a successful training and ‘train the trainers’ session in Douala Cameroon, ESD is currently preparing for the next collaborative effort with the African Energy Commission in Johannesburg, May 28-30. 

At this training ESD will again present the new AFREC questionnaire developed by the IEA and will train energy statisticians from South African countries. Moreover, since the meeting takes place in South Africa, a special focus will be added on reporting coal and coal to liquids statistics.
