IEA at COP26: Fireside chat: People-centred clean energy transitions
Background information
Following up on the successful launch of the recommendations, this dialogue under the Danish Pavilion at COP26 between European members of the Global Commission will explore how governments can implement better policies for achieving clean energy goals in ways that enhance people’s lives, create new jobs, protect the vulnerable, and ensure global energy access, affordability and security. Participating ministers will draw on local best practice examples in their own country to illustrate some of the key Commission’s recommendations.
