Petrochemicals modelling workshop

Background

The workshop will bring together industry stakeholders and academia to discuss challenges and opportunities of long-term energy modelling of the (Petro)chemicals sector. The workshop aims at having detailed discussions of the techno-economic characterisation of process technologies covered in modelling exercises, exchanging information on recent observed trends and projected activity levels in the sector and exploring the potential of innovative process technologies and routes to support the CO₂ emission mitigation efforts of the (petro)chemicals industry.
