The IEA’s flagship publication World Energy Outlook will include a Special Focus on Electricity for the first time to shed light on what tomorrow’s power sector could look like, highlighting key uncertainties – including the pace of electricity demand growth and the changing nature of electricity supply – with implications for energy security, investment and environmental concerns. To this end, the IEA is hosting a high-level workshop to bring together decision makers and leading experts from around the world to provide strategic guidance on the analysis.
