National Hydrogen Strategy - Renewable Hydrogen Deployment Funding Round

The strategy outlines an adaptive approach that equips Australia to scale up quickly as the hydrogen market grows. It includes a set of nationally coordinated actions involving governments, industry and the community will create new jobs during the pandemic.    

 

As part of the National Hydrogen Strategy, ARENA, the Australian Renewable Energy Agency has opened up AUD 70 million funding to develop a competitive hydrogen industry in Australia. In particular, support will be geared towards developing large scale electrolysers that will source electricity from renewable energy.
