Last updated: 19 July 2021

"SolCan" for 2020 will allocate 20 million euros to boost photovoltaic solar energy installations in the archipelago of the Canary Islands. It is expected that 150 megawatts (MW) of renewable power will come into operation in the autonomous community. The program will be co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), aimed at strengthening economic and social cohesion in the European Union, correcting the imbalances that exist between its regions.
