EU funding allocation 2021-27

Italy will receive EU funds over the period 2021-2027, under its commitments with the MFF and NGEU, as such : 

Structural Funds: EUR 42.1 billion 

Common Agricultural Policy: EUR 35.1 billion 

Recovery & Resilience Facility: EUR 65.5 billion 

Just Transition Fund: EUR 0.9 billion 

ETS Auction Review: EUR 1.4 billion (average of 2018 and 2019 actual auction revenues, amounts in 2021 to 2027 will depend on the quantity and price of auctioned allowances).

 

The Italian government has approved the allocation of 210 billion EUR from EU funds, including the Next Generation Fund, of which 67.5 billion would be allocated to the clean energy transition (31.6 billion EUR for existing projects and 35.9 billion EUR for new projects), and 32 billion EUR would be allocated for infrastructures for sustainable mobility (11.7 billion EUR for existing projects, and 20.3 billion EUR for new projects).
