Regulation for energy performance certification of buildings
The national government approved the Royal Decree regulating the procedure for energy certification of buildings. It is in line with the national objective of decarbonizing the economy by 2050 and aims to improve the energy efficiency of buildings. It regulates the methodology and establishes the technical definitions for rating buildings. It sets the minimum requirements to obtain an Energy Performance Certificate, as well as the content of these certificates.
