Space technology to tackle climate change

GBP 7 million of government funding was provided to eleven UK organisations to put into action the latest advances in space innovation, mostly focusing on tackling climate change or improving environmental management, with others to secure telecommunication systems and digital infrastructure against cyberattacks. 

 

The new funding ranges from between GBP 157,000 and GBP 1 million per project and will allow the organisations to take their projects to the next stage and implement their innovative ideas.
