200MW Battery storage project

Lithuania has launched a project to deploy 200MW / 200MWh of battery storage in the northern European country. The project is expected to be commissioned by November 2022 and initiate services to the transmission network by December 2022. As approved by the European Commission, up to EUR 100 million (USD 112.9 million) financial assistance from the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Facility will be provided for the project.
