Prince Decree 2/2017: Cancellation of prince decree 38/2011 to form the national committee for oil and gas

The decree abolishes the 2011 prince decree number 38, to form a national committee for oil and gas. The committee is dissolved and all the rights, power, and duties are transferred to Qatar Petroleum. Those include but are not limited to the authority to:

• Guide and transfer technologies and international expertise to Qatar
• Prepare research studies to govern and manage the oil and gas operations
• Coordinate with different national committees
