Infrastructure and Jobs act: Nationwide network of EV chargers

Under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, USD 7.5 billion is allocated to build a nationwide network of 500,000 electric vehicle chargers. Funds are distributed to the National Electric Vehicle Formula Program to provide states to strategically deploy charging and fueling infrastructure. This infrastructure must be publicly accessible and states will work with DOT and DOE to formulate proposals.
