Temporary reduction in electricity, gas and heating distribution tariffs

In an effort to shield consumers from the impacts of the global energy crisis, the Latvian government implemented temporary reduction in fixed-term electricity, gas and heating distribution tariffs for households (up to a consumption limit set at 100 kWh by month) and businesses in 2022. 

 In September 2023, the Latvian government further extended the support for low and medium-low income households.
