European Institute of Innovation and Technology: Raw Materials Project Call

The European Institute of Technology's RawMaterials Community has issued a call for innovative project proposals to address challenges in the sustainable supply of critical minerals to achieve the objectives of the European Green Deal. The funding opportunity is organised around 10 themes encompassing the raw materials value chain: 1) exploration, 2) mining and processing, 3) future exploration, mining and processing technologies, 4) innovation in the substitution of critical, toxic, and low-performance materials, 5) additive manufacturing of materials, 6) resource efficient design of materials, 7) industrial symbiosis, 8) design for recycling and life-time extension, 9) end-of-life product recycling, and 10) chain of custody. Special emphasis is given to Regional Innovation Scheme projects in regions of strategic importance as defined by the Institute.
