Energy package 1

The Government presented fresh package of measures worth HRK 4.8 Billion (EUR 637 million) to alleviate the impact of the energy crisis. The measures will become operational on April 1 and will be valid until March 31, 2023.

• HRK 2.1 billion refers to tax relief through reduced VAT rates.
• HRK 1.2 billion refers to gas subsidies, HRK 800 million to social benefits and benefits for retirees.
• HRK 460 million refers to the limitation of the increase in benefits for electricity.
• HRK 250 million in support for farmers and fishermen.
