Energy Savings Package - Energy Upgrades to Social Housing

The Australian government announced a four-year government grant program aimed at supporting energy upgrades and retrofits in existing social housing. The purpose of the program is to reduce energy bills for lower-income Australian households and to support energy upgrades in 60,000 homes.

The program will be funded AUD 300 million over four years, beginning in 2023.
