The Bangkok Mass Transport Authority (BMTA) Budget 2023-2025

The Bangkok Mass Transport Authority (BMTA) board has approved the purchase of 3,390 electric vehicle (EV) buses to improve the city's public transport system and reduce environmental impact. In the first stage, 350 EV buses will be procured, followed by 1,520 buses in each subsequent stage. The entire project, lasting three to five years, is estimated to cost around 5.5 billion baht and will be financed through the BMTA's 2024 investment budget.
