Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG (DBTL) Scheme

The Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG (DBTL) scheme subsidizes LPG cylinders for consumers. Under DBTL, eligible beneficiaries receive a direct subsidy into their bank accounts when purchasing LPG cylinders. The scheme ensures that existing LPG consumers making less than 100.000 INR per year receive financial assistance to offset the cost of refills. 

Subsidy amounts vary according to the difference between the retail price and the subsidised cost.
