Energy efficiency requirement for non-duct air conditioners

This standard defines minimum cooling seasonal performance factor of non-duct air conditioners with cooling capacity less than 71 kW, starting from the 1st of January 2016.

 

air cooled:

  • packaged:
    • Cooling capacity (kW) < 2.2: EER 3.40
    • 2.2 = CC < 4.0: EER 3.45
    • 4.0 = CC < 7.1: EER 3.25
    • 7.1 = CC < 10.0: EER 3.15
  • split:
    • CC < 4.0: EER 3.85
    • 4.0 = CC < 7.1:  EER 3.55
    • 7.1 = CC: EER 3.40

Water-cooled or evaporatiev cooling: EER 4.80
