The overall objective of the project was to foster Electric Vehicle (EV) deployment in France within a short timeframe. It developed an understanding of all technological, environmental and end user requirements to enable the viability of an interoperable fast charging network in France and in Europe. Thr project was successfully completed although there was a variance between the number of stations deployed as part of the pilot network of charging facilities by the end of the Action. 181 stations out of 200 were installed and 171 were in operation by mid-September 2016. A national network of interoperable fast charging stations, promoting electromobility among consumers, and a sustainable fast charging service are now available for all EV users.
