Renewable Energy Feed-in tariffs

In 2009, the government implemented the feed-in tariff for electricity from renewable sources, namely onshore and offshore wind, rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV, hydro, geothermal, biomass and waste.

FITs for power generation are financed by electricity consumers and by the Petroleumand Agricultural Development Funds for thermal generation

FIT levels are adjusted on a yearly basis.
