Preferential Interest Borrowing Facilities for Residential Buildings

Last updated: 5 November 2017
Preferential interest borrowing facilities are offered to collectivities wanting to carry out energy savings renovations in buildings. The state support is designed to help pay the interest on the loans provided by financial institutions for the implementation of energy efficiency projects, if the residential building does not meet the heat-engineering standard. In the case of prefabricated technology-based residential buildings, composed of at least ten apartments, the interest subsidisation amounts to two-thirds of the interest charged by the financial institution. The work of renovation, modernisation and heat insulation has to cover the outside walls, roofs and ceilings, and the replacement of outside doors and windows.
