IEA Executive Director meets with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson
WASHINGTON – Dr Fatih Birol, the Executive Director of the International Energy Agency, held a bilateral meeting with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson at the State Department on Tuesday.
Dr Birol and Secretary Tillerson discussed developments in the global energy landscape, and their implications for the United States and the world.
They also discussed the critical role of the IEA in the energy world and plans for advancing the agency's modernization agenda.
