Approval of NOVA Gas Transmission expansion project

The Government of Canada has approved the NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) 2021 System Expansion Project with 35 conditions and amendments by the Canada Energy Regulator related to caribou habitat and Indigenous engagement. The $2.3-billion project is expected to creating 2,920 jobs and giving natural gas producers better access to markets for their products.
