Efficient use of energy and its conservation in Himachal Pradesh

In line with the Energy Conservation Act, this order by the government of Himachal Pradesh has been issued to drive the implementation of energy efficiency measures across high energy consuming entities, such as industrial entities, commercial establishments and government organisations. The following six measures are proposed:Mandatory use of CFLs and/or T-5(28 watt) tube lightsMandatory Use of Energy Efficient Street LightsMandatory Use of Solar Water Heating SystemOptional Use of Solar Water Heating SystemsMandatory Use of ISI/BIS merked Motor pumps sets, Power Capacitors , Foot/Reflex valves in agriculture Sectors.Promotion of Energy Efficient Building Design
