Notification on adoption of Energy Efficient Lighting System in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh State Government announced a notification in 2008, which put in place a mandatory requirement for government buildings and government affiliated institutions/boards/corporations to use of Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL). It also required the replacement of existing non-working tube-light chokes by electronic chokes.
