IKK/IKU - energy-efficient construction and retrofitting

Funding for the refurbishment of non-residential municipal and community buildings and municipal companies to the standards of the type 70 or type 100 KfW Efficiency House, or the Listed Efficiency House, or for individual measures is available, and takes the form of low-interest loans that are awarded in conjunction with repayment grants covering be-tween 5.0 and 17.5% of the cost. Since October 2015, funding has also been available for the construction and acquisition of buildings (KfW efficiency house 55 and 70) that fall within these categories. For type 55 Efficiency Houses, this comes with an additional payment grant covering 5% of the cost.
