Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (Clean Hydrogen Partnership)
A means of selecting grant recipients by forming a body composed of government, academic and private experts to set and execute a coherent multi-year research agenda. The European Commission has provided EUR 1 billion to this body for 2021-2027, and the Joint Undertaking is required to match this level through private contributions Individual projects may also benefit from financial or in-kind contributions from EU member states. The Clean Hydrogen JU is the successor of the FCH JU that ran from 2008.
