Poverty Reduction and Growth Strategy Paper (PRRGSP) 2007-2011

The strategy paper served as a medium-term guide to the economic and social development of the country. In the energy sector, the Government's objective was to ensure broad energy access for all social groups and national grassroots communities, with the view to increasing access to electricity to 100% by 2025. The strategy for renewable energy included the development of the solar, wind and biogas based applications.
