NOM-013-ENER-2004: Energy efficient lighting systems on roads and public outdoor areas

Source: International Energy Agency
Last updated: 18 July 2019
This standard establishes the levels of energy efficiency in terms of maximum values of electrical power density of lighting (DPEA) that must comply new systems, as well as extensions, of public lighting, public parking lots (open, closed or roofed), or outdoor lighting regardless of its size and connected load. See the attachment for the maximum DPEA levels.
The standard NOM-013-ENER-2004 supersedes the standard NOM-013-ENER-1996. The 2004 version keeps the maximum DPEA levels but incraeses the lumens per watt (efficacy) for some exterior lighting systems (from 40 lm/w to 70 lm/w).
