Efficiency Labelling of Newly Distributed Cars

The ministerial decree (12/2002. (III. 14.) on the fuel efficiency and carbon-dioxide emission requirements for newly distributed cars came into force on 1 July 2002, in accordance with the EU Directive 1999/94/EC. Based on this decree it is obligatory for car dealers to indicate clearly "by labelling and advertising" the fuel consumption and carbon-dioxide emission data of vehicles based on technical documentation. This data must be displayed on all advertisements.
