The metropolitan city of Turin is launching a pilot project with the support of the Environment ministry to support alternative mobility for people commuting to work.

The pilot project will subsidise 500 bikers with 0.25€/km for normal bikes and 0.15€/km for electric bikes. A maximum of 50€ per month can be allocated to individual bikers.

The project is called "bögia" which means move in the local dialect.
