Sustainable Recovery Tracker

Report launch

Governments around the world have been mobilising large amounts of fiscal support in response to the economic crisis triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic. Many have called for a sustainable recovery – using economic recovery spending to build the infrastructure needed to put the world’s energy-related CO2 emissions into structural decline. The IEA Sustainable Recovery Tracker monitors recovery measures worldwide to estimate the additional clean energy investment mobilised by these and other policies, both in the private and public sector, and projects how much these investments will do to bend the curve on global emissions.
